Patti and I found this table. I don't really need it or have much space but I am defs a fan of it's shape and its in pretty good condish so, why not walk it 2 blocks away to a new home? I drew and cut out a stencil and painted it wallpaper style onto the top. I plan to paint the legs to finish it off and possibly gloss it? we'll see. The pattern is an attempt at baroque flowers but looks more like fancily cut paper snowflakes. Originally I wanted the pattern to be subtle . . . in a sort of cream color on the white maybe? but instead of mixing white paint with brown I used yellow. The coloring was all uneven and bugging the heck out of me and only looked good when I crouched down with the surface being eye level. Solution: outline with a darker color, which ended up being green. The result (so far): Tea Time*!!
